Santa Claus is coming to town!
The festive holiday season just wouldn’t be complete without a visit from The Jolly One. The Dewey Beach Lions Club (DBLC) invites everyone to come down and have breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 12 at the DBLC building located at 115 McKinley Street in Dewey Beach. Breakfast will be held from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and kids will be able to visit with Santa, make crafts, and write letters from 8:00-11:00 a.m. Everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to support the DBLC’s effort to fight childhood hunger and “keep kids fed in Sussex County.” Adult admission is $8. Children ages 10+ pay $4, and children ages 9 and under get in free with a paying adult.
The "Big Guy" will be back on Sunday, December 13 at the Crooked Hammock Brewery and Restaurant in Lewes for a Kids’ Brunch benefitting Toys for Tots. The family-friendly brunch buffet will be served from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Santa will be on hand to hear what is on every child’s wish list. The cost for brunch is $14 for adults and $7 for kids. Bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots community gift box and receive a special thank you gift certificate for a Crooked Hammock dinner in 2016.
