The Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival is a sweet treat

It’s safe to say most people like chocolate. This “food of the gods” not only tastes good but also has some pretty nice health benefits – it’s heart healthy, lowers risk of stroke and heart attack, improves mental agility, AND gives you a rush of euphoria when you take a bite. If you consider yourself a chocoholic, then the 26th Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival is a sweet treat you will surely enjoy.

This mouthwatering event will take place at the Atlantic Sands Hotel, 101 North Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, this Saturday, April 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. General admission tickets will be available (in limited quantities) the day of the event beginning at 10:00 a.m. The cost is $15 for ten tastings and $5 for five tastings (for kids under 12 only). Get your chocolate fix at one of two tastings (2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.) where you can indulge in tasty cocoa-licious treats prepared by top local chefs.

A chocolate contest will feature professional entries in eight categories including brownie, cake, candy, cookie, pie, ice cream, other, and (non-edible) showpiece. Proceeds benefit Rehoboth Beach Main Street.

For more information, please call 302-227-2772 or visit the Rehoboth Beach Main Street website.
